Hi,
Glad you stopped by. This is a work in progress. I am going to make an effort to post on this site weekly and share with you my life as a fourth-grade teacher. I have been teaching for almost thirty years and would love to help out my fellow colleagues by sharing with you my struggles and achievements.
For the past few years, I have been working on expanding my use of technology in the classroom by using google classroom with my students. If you haven't tried google classroom yet, check out this link from google that will walk you through setting up the classroom step by step;

Google Classroom is a great platform that allows my students to access their assignments from anywhere. My students love using the computer and accessing their work from home and working through their assignments on the computer keeps them very involved and motivated. Additionally, I can post videos, links to different sites that will help support my students if they need extra help to get their work done.
One of my missions this year has been to create resources to post onto my google classroom that will be beneficial to my students. So here is a link to my first resource on my Teacher Pay Teacher account. Download and use the file for free.

Father's Day
Hi,
I decided after the awesome job my class did for Mother's Day, we would have to kick it ups notch for Father's Day. I found our craft (click HERE to see it pinned to one of my boards). I am gathering supplies. I am using boxes from materials delivered to the building and after consulting the art teacher (an amazingly creative person), I am going to pick up 4 bottles of gold spray paint, in order to make sure I have enough for the front and the back go our Greatest Dad Trophies.
